Dreaming with Venus
A 24 hour workshop working with the orbit of Venus,
our dreams and the Venus labyrinth
with Mandy Pullen & Jane Embleton
8pm Friday 26th October to 8pm Saturday 27th October - Somerset
Venus has a beautiful orbit around the Sun which is mirrored by our own Earth’s orbit - it is made up of hearts and roses - see the photo below which is our Venus labyrinth. Working with the orbit of Venus and focussing our intention on our collective dreams on Friday night can produce extraordinary outcomes. Our 24 hours will start at 8pm on Friday as this is the day of the week associated with Venus - 8pm because Venus has a tango rhythm which has a 3:3:2 (=8) rhythm. Venus and Earth dance this tango around the Sun in an 8:5 rhythm which draws this beautiful labyrinth.
We often link these 24 hour workshops around specific events in the astrological calendar as we also pay tribute to the Sun around which our solar system navigates . . . this weekend falls a few days short of Samhain, or Hallowe'en, which is the end of one Celtic year and the beginning of another.
The workshop will take place in a private house and the village hall which is a stone's throw away. All accommodation and meals are included in the cost. You will need to bring bedding and although there are beds available there is also indoor camping on the floor. We will provide two evening meals, lunch and breakfast. Anyone wishing to stay over on Saturday night to avoid a late drive after a full day is welcome.
