Uranus enters Gemini (the Twins) on Monday 9th July at 8.47am. Having an 84 year orbit - it passes through each sign every 7 or so years.

Uranus is considered, in modern day astrology, the ruler of Aquarius, an air sign. It is known for its disruptive nature, concerned with rebellion, freedom, technological advance and humanitarianism. Gemini is also an air sign, ruled by Mercury, and affects communication, learning and thought amongst other things. With Pluto (planet of deep truths and transformation) having recently settled in Aquarius, the themes of humanity, groups and society, and the way we communicate, think and learn on those levels come to the fore. Uranus is disruptive and rebellious - how will that influence our means of communicating, learning and thinking?

In this workshop we will look at the ‘generational' aspect of Uranus in terms of when you were born, the 7 or so year period of that generation. On a more personal level we will see which house, or area of life, Uranus occupies in your natal/birth chart and which, if any, other planets it may aspect (link to). How will Uranus affect you over the coming 7 years? If you know anything about your natal chart does Uranus, Gemini, Mercury and/or Aquarius feature in any significant way?

There will be a look at the history of Uranus and its myths and legends and what else is going on astrologically at this time - as an example Saturn and Neptune, two planetary heavy weights, are almost conjunct in Aries (their precise conjunction is in February 2026 and I will be running a workshop covering this event nearer the time). We will also take note of the time that Uranus will dip back into Taurus from November 2025 to April 2026.

For the purposes of the workshop I will need the time, date and place of your birth - if you don't know the time I can dowse it for you - and in preparation you will need to spend a short amount of time in the contemplation of the way you think, learn and communicate. It will also be beneficial for you to ask for a dream around Uranus nearer the time. More details will be sent upon booking.

There will be some guided meditation/journeying and the work will allow for some personal sharing and discussion. We will also peform a simple ceremony to mark this ‘change of guard’!
